Lebo worked for multinationals such as Deloitte, VISA and Gemalto where she commercialized mobile money and mobile payment products in emerging markets. In her role at Visa, Emerging Markets Digital, she created mobile money ecosystems which involved the following areas; building distribution networks and the relevant commercial models, developing customer value propositions for the unbanked market, creating partnerships with banks or mobile network operators dependent on the regulations in the country and advised regulators on the most suitable financial inclusion policies. She has mobile payment experience in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Nepal and Malaysia. Lebo recently lived in Kenya, consulting to Village Capital and facilitated investor-readiness workshops for Fintech Africa 2017 and 2018. The objective was to share the necessary tools to scale in the fintech industry and help the startups effectively engage with investors. The workshops took place in Accra, Lagos and Nairobi. Her company, EagleQeust Africa, develops payment solutions for Banks, Telecommunication Companies, Technology Companies and those that seek solutions for financial inclusion. Her client portfolio includes: Women Development Bank (WDB), Gemalto Government Solutions, Village Capital, Multichoice and Standard Bank.
