While Motswaledi was an engineering graduate and fellow at the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation and the Mandela Rhodes Foundation, she realised she enjoyed problem solving with a specific focus on tech development in an African context with specific focus on South Africa.
Motswaledi completed a foundation program on Design Thinking in order to approach problem solving from a user-centric perspective, showing that one should never stop learning. Motswaledi states that the skill has been particularity useful when innovating to produce tech solutions in the South African context – where socio-economic factors need always be considered.
She currently works in 3D Power, a product development start-up which she has co-founded. With 3D Power’s founding, she has successfully launched a service that offers 3D printing of ultrasounds; and a nation unify project for corporate South Africa.
As Motswaledi states “she I believe that dialogue and collaboration among individuals across various industries and cultural backgrounds are the key ingredients to a successful forward moving society. Therefore reach out if you would like to talk or collaborate on all things tech or non-tech , Africa or Global.”
