Noletu is Africa’s first female Chief Inspector for a Nuclear Power Plant. She works for the National Nuclear regulator and is responsible for establishment and coordination of Compliance Assurance Programme & Enforcement for Koeberg Nuclear Power Station (KNPS) focusing on monitoring and evaluating performance during normal operations and during Outage periods. She holds a Masters Degree in Nuclear Science & Technology from Manchester University . Noletu has fifteen years experience in the Nuclear Industry and received accreditation as Suitably Qualified and Experienced personnel through National Nuclear Laboratory, formerly known as Nexia Solutions (British Nuclear Fuels) in 2008.
Noletu has served in different forums and has recently been appointed as a committee member in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Nuclear Safety Standards Committee. Noletu spent 3 months in the United States of America in 2017 as a foreign assignee working for the United States
Nuclear Regulatory Commission where she received training in different aspect also exchanging knowledge with the commission Noletu has not only worked in the Nuclear Industry but has ventured into Long Term Energy Forecasting for SADC region between 2011 and 2014. Not only is Noletu qualified in Physics and Nuclear Science, she also holds a Diploma in Management Development and is currently registered in a short course for Environmental Law
