Veronica Motloutsi is one of the leading ICT executives in South Africa. Her company SmartDigital Solution, a 100% Black Female owned aims to enable its clients to fulfil their digital ambitions and take on a leadership role to help shape the new rules of the game. She is also the founder & visionary of AfricaLead platform, aimed to challenge government, funders and policy maker to create a new digital economy that will propel Africa to compete better with other markets. Her platform reaches to leaders and senior decision makers across the continent.
In 2016 she was asked to be the NSFAS Ambassador for their ÏAM A PIONEER Campaign, as key influence in ICT Education. She is also the member of the Tshwane University of Technology Council, guiding the Universities digital transformation journey. She is also the trusted advisor to CIOs as she has deep understanding of ICT.
She has published two papers in the area of IT: The effectiveness of programmes to recruit and retain women in ICT& The state of IT Governance in the top 20 IT spending companies in South Africa.
She has Masters in Business Information System, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration from Gordon Institute of Business Science (Global Module China and HongKong). She also completed the Vodacom Senior Leadership programme from Wits Business School as well as the Vodacom Senior Executive Development programme with GIBS (Global Immersion Malaysia and Singapore)
She participated in Vodacom Women Leaders Programme offered by GIBS. In addition she is United States Professional fellow in the area of Innovation and Technology (Boston and Washington DC). Veronica participated in the Executive Development exchange programme in Massachusetts, Boston. She is well travelled and avid reader. She serve as a board member of FTTX Council Africa.
