Yandisa Sokhanyile

Yandisa Sokhanyile (35), born in the rural town of Mt Ayliff, Eastern Cape. She started school at the age of 4 and matriculated at Commercial Park Private School at 15. A born entrepreneur, she started selling chips and sweets in primary school and at 10 she was running a mini bakery from home.

After studying Computer Engineering and Information Systems, she found her passion Brand Activations and Events . She started her first formal business Vibezone Entertainment, at the age of 19.

The company became one of the leading artist and brand management companies in the country, competing in the then male dominated industry. Vibezone has been the engine behind some of South Africa’s biggest artists, having shaped careers of stars like Malaika, Siphokazi, Theo Kgosinkwe, Zonke, Veliswa Skeyi, Sechaba, Ringo and many more.

The company has also managed international events including Bebe and Cece Winans show, Johnny Gill, Anthony Hamilton, Kenny Lattimore, India Arie, Oleta Adams to mention a few. Vibezone became a preferred supplier at the Coca Cola Dome.

In 2017 she launched KONECTA (PTY) LTD, a turnkey ICT solutions provider specializing in IT, Digital Solutions, APP & Systems Development. The company is playing a crucial role in digitizing the Transport sector and has developed the first Multi Modal Route planner in the country for Gauteng Province.

With KONECTA she merges her passion for brand development, marketing with technology, assisting brands and companies to transform into the digital & technology space.

She is an Advisory board member for International development software company.
